When used with the T4 disconnect cable from R4 and plug into the T4 jack, install new cable from R4 to R4 jack of C-Drake

C-Drake display contains  power rectifier / filter and regulator.  Goes on / off with the radio.

Displays frequency with 10Hz resolution

Fully automatic.  It measures the INJ port RCA jack.

Update rate of 5 times per second tracks real time while you tune.

Digital filtering to eliminate bouncing digits due to digital round off.

    ie: does NOT bounce back and forth between 999 and 1000.

Backlit display for low light conditions.

Installation consists of connecting to INJ jack using supplied cable.

Power can be obtained from the radio's filament voltage on the AUX Power connector.

(Mating power connector for the C-Drake is included)

The preselector control must be tuned reasonably close to the band being used, which is of course true anyway.

If C-Drake does not operate properly on a band it will be necessary to peak the premix circuit, for that band, as shown below.

The premix filter is a double tuned filter.
There are two trimmer capacitors per band.
Adjust both for peak voltage at the INJ
port on the back of the radio using either
wideband oscilloscope or RF voltmeter.
